Thanks Yaz! I thought I’d better try for a few laughs to make up for recent days. Thank heaven I still have my sense of humor!!
I hope your 2013 is full of wonderful blessings!
Much love!
Lisa
Short but very sweet. Love the cat. Reminds me of my wife reading a book I want to get my hands on. Not turning pages and I finally realize she’s asleep. GRRR.
Glad to see you are looking for humor. Here’s to a much improved 2013!!
I thought we could all use a little laugh. I actually do read very slowly – I’m sure it frustrates those people reading over my shoulder.
A much improved year sounds very good to me!
Cheers!
I thought I’d better lighten the mood around the ol’ poststead. haha! It was getting too serious. Glad you had a laugh, Brigitte. Happy 2013 to you, my friend!!
haha! My reading skills put me on par with that statue! Anyone who reads over my shoulder gets what they deserve. 😉
At least you had the good sense to quit.
The sheep one and the cat one are so good. I have a picture of a cat looking up into the sky with a sad look on his face and he’s like “What am I doing with my lives?” haha makes me laugh every time!
Music on loop hold– the two reasons I no longer call United. They ruined one of my favorite songs by just playing that same passage overandoveranjdover. Poor Gershwin!
Hey, I’d rather listen to Gershwin than a flute solo. But you’re right, anything can be ruined if it’s on a loop. (Probably not the Beatles, though. Just sayin.)
Ugh! I hate being on hold. I hate the ones with the messages AND the music. When the voice comes on I always think it’s a real person. When I realize it’s just more of the loop I feel like a dummy. LOL!
And if it’s silent don’t you feel like you’re not even connected? Either way it’s terrible.
I loved the slow reading statue! I had to laugh that El Guapo has been behind him on the train! So now we know how EG fills all thoe commuter hours! LOL!
I saw this yesterday. Yesterday was the day I had to call the power company. Calling the power company means having to wait on hold. I’m glad others feel my pain.
i’m feeling your pain. A flute solo is probably one of the worst loops to be stuck on. I think they find the most torturous music so that you’ll get off quickly.
I suppose the flute solo is not bad compared to other things… but 40 minutes of anything can break a person’s spirit — then to have that followed with an operator you can’t understand, well, that’s more than any of us should have to endure. 🙂
That’s progress. I think of longing of less civilized days when you either got an engaged signal or a voice which had a human attached to it and that human, more often than not, was able to help you!
Thanks for the cheer! I hope you have a really good 2013, and that you start to feel a lot better. Lots of love to you.

Yeah, I’ve been behind that garden statue on the train…
I’m thinking that might have been me? I’m the slowest of the slow – probably why that makes me laugh.
Hahaha that last one had me in stitches!!
I know, that one cracks me up. I think a “flute solo” might make me want to slit my wrists. LOL!!!
My cat’s kind of like that with my laptop. “Scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroooooooool!!”
Unfortunately, I read as fast as that statue. I’m sure that’s why I find that one so funny. Cat’s are the best, are they not?
Thanks for the funny, Lisa. We can always use a laugh! Happy 2013 my friend!

That sheep one is great.
Yeah, that one makes me laugh, as well. Especially when you consider that it’s “Day 46.” LOL!
Thanks for the laugh! The cat reminds me of why I quit reading over Hubby’s shoulder. 🙂

love the flute solo–I usually get stuck with Barry Manilow–although of course there is nothing wrong with that (remember the Seinfeld program)?
haha! Barry Manilow! I do remember that episode – good old Seinfeld.
I’d rather have Barry Manilow than a flute solo, let’s be honest.
well–I am not sure I will concede that….
haha!

Just reading that makes me laugh!! Why are animals combined with human thoughts, so damn funny?

I have to agree with you on the Beatles.
I love the sheep 🙂 x
haha! Me too!!
Hi,
Brilliant, I can relate to the last one, being put on hold. 😀
Ugh! I hate being on hold. I hate the ones with the messages AND the music. When the voice comes on I always think it’s a real person. When I realize it’s just more of the loop I feel like a dummy. LOL!

“40 minute flute solo” — bahahaha!
haha!
They’re all good – but that first one? we’ve got the tent over here….
🙂
haha! I knew you’d like that one!!!
Laughter is good for the soul….glad you’re able to smile a little 🙂
I’m nothing without my sense of humor. It’s come in very handy this time around. 🙂
Reading over my shoulder? A huge pet peeve of mine– I’ll elbow ya for sure 😉
Thanks for the smiles Grippy– needed them.
I probably read as quickly as that statue. If someone is reading over my shoulder, it’s not gonna be good. tee hee
I showed my husband the alpaca one and even he got a giggle from it. In other words it’s hilarious ;D
Why is it always funny when animals are assigned human thoughts? That one in particular made me laugh – maybe because it’s Day 46? LOL!
The last one cracked me up!!!
I needed a giggle tonight so muchas gracias 🙂
Haha! That may be the best one!
I loved the slow reading statue! I had to laugh that El Guapo has been behind him on the train! So now we know how EG fills all thoe commuter hours! LOL!
He was either behind the statue or me! Actually the statue might be a faster reader! Haha!
LOL!! 😀
I learned to love the flute through this route!
hahah!

I wouldn’t mind the flute solo. The ear-abusing stuff they often use is something else, though!
